Description
AS3000 3D Level 10 CAD/CAM Software by CamSoft is a true Windows-compliant CAD/CAM program that runs under Windows 98 SE, ME, NT, 2000, XP and Vista. AS3000 was designed for ease of use by machinists and operates in a multitasking environment. One click of the mouse gets you to practically any feature. You can quickly design 2 to 3 axis part geometry or import DXF, I.G.E.S., CDL, Gerber, HPGL, CATIA CL, APT or existing machine code files. Using a Pentium or higher based computer, you can create CAD/CAM graphic part images then download the auto-generated part programming code directly into the machine tool. The basic system is a low-cost package with numerous features capable of creating 3D wireframe geometry. Level 10 is for 2, 3 or 4 axis parametric programming without surfacing and includes automatic post processing for either a Mill, Lathe, EDM, Router, WaterJet, Flame Cutter or Laser. Level 10 includes all of the Level 5 features plus a customizable utility language which allows you to create new user-defined features for your own application. Level 10 also supports all machine types in one package. LEVEL 10 FEATURES: Multiple machine tool configurations. 3D paths are created using 2D contours that slice the part in the Z axis by stepping up or down. Utilities are provided for Surface of Revolution, Swept Surface, Ruled Surface, Cross Section and Top + Cross Section. Automatic gear utilities enable the user to create a gear program by just answering a few questions. Create your own new feature customized to your specifications with a question and answer format as a standard feature. Create a "Family of Parts" using the included 3D utility language. Parametric programming containing hundreds of 2D and 3D math commands, logic statements, decision making commands and character, word and string manipulations to parametrically alter your parts by changing one value.
