Over the years I have spent hundreds of hours created comprehensive forms and systems to calculate and control spending and lose. After buying forms online and using POS cost control systems to help me and my staff control cost of goods and labor I found most of them were confusing to use. Impossible to implement and train my staff to use them productively. I spent thousands on forms that claimed to be simple to use and to customize. Only to find myself inputting inventory and pricing for hours. Wasting valuable time and money making them work for my Restaurants. You can go on line and find thousands of different forms and systems for hundreds of dollars. All claiming to be easy to use and never giving support without charging hundreds of dollars to consult the manager or owner. It's usually a crap shoot. The web site gives you a quick snap shot of the form, looks simple enough so you pay $30 bucks. You pull up the form and realize it won't work with what you already have and it will take you hours to customize it add your inventory then teach your staff to use it. Or like I have done, buy a whole program that claims to calculate everything work with your POS system and poof give you the COGS, labor cost, sales and tell you the future all with on click of the enter key. Sounds pretty magical doesn't it. Well honestly they could work that way if you paid your computer tech or one of your staff members to compile all the info and stuff it all in the computer for hundreds if not thousands of dollars. And not to mention to maintain it forever. Most of these systems give you templates and forms that you don't even need or just make it all that more complicated for your staff and you. Making your 5 thousand dollar program to calculate COGS and labor an unproductive money pit that might not even be accurate because no one can figure out how to use it. In my experience easy quick systems and process easy to learn and implement make your 13 hour shift alot easier and more productive. My COGS system contains only 6 forms. An Order Sheet With product prices, par levels, and order levels Separate for Beverage Food, and Paper that can be printed for your department managers to take inventory and do their orders. Then you just input the order number on the computer. Takes about ten minutes. The forms calculate the prices and counts for you. Every month your staff from each department take an physical inventory usually takes an hour once a month. You plug in the counts again about ten minutes. You get the inventory total. Then just plug it in the COGS worksheet with your monthly sales,and purchases, the worksheet will total up your COST OF GOODS SOLD. Once a month for about an hour and a half of inventory you get your percentages per department. Then you can wisk that number of to your accountant and your done. This system effectively give you an accurate count and keeps your staff aware of in house inventory not to mention lose control. Not only will I provide you the forms but I will Input youe entire inventory and prices. And customize it the way your stock room is set up to make taking inventory painless and easy, so that your staff will be less apted to take shortcuts. All you have to do is right down you inventory as it is stocked on your shelves with count sizes (exp. gallon pound each case) Then send me a price sheet from your sales reps (or a copy of your invoice). I will also provide phone, or email support for 90 days. Really this is so easy you might not need any support at all. This is great for start ups and managers who need alittle help getting their COGS reports accurate. This pakage will be $100 dollars.
