A lot of people don't know that within Windows XP (and W2000) is a "Recovery Console" that is designed  to help you to repair your Windows 2000 or XP- such as what do you do if your computer doesn't turn on at the start, it continues to loop, or repair the Boot sector or a host of other functions. How does one get into the Recovery Console? You need a Windows 2000 or XP CDROM, or a set of 6 Boot floppy disks, or just load it into your functioning 2000/XP or you can make a CD. Unfortunately, many computers, especially those you buy without a Windows disk (but already loaded with a Windows XP) do not come with Windows 2000 or XP CD. You may not have 6 Boot floppy disks on hand, and even those that come with Repair CDs won't have a Recovery Console! And making a Recovery CD can be a project in itself- don't recommended it at all if you know about burning ISO files. Microsoft makes accessing the Recovery Console difficult. You don't even know that it's there! The problem is that the Recovery Console has to be loaded into your computer, and once it does, you have to know what commands to use to make it work. You need an arcane DOS-like set of instructions to load it, to make it work, and then you have to know what these commands are. It is a daunting task! DOS is definetely not dead! Thankfully, all the instructions are now here for you on a CD which will enable you to load the Recovery Console and fix your computer. The instructions are shown on graphical screens to make it easy for you. Every time you turn on the computer, you will now have Windows ask you if you want to get into the Recovery Console. You will be able to access your Windows 2000 and XP, load the Recovery Console, and repair the Boot sector, Format and Partition your hard drive, create a Boot disk to Start Windows, fix a "Invalid Boot.ini, and according to Microsoft, be able to repair the over 200 instances of just "Starting XP" problems!
